Five Ten Shoes........................
Does anyone have any experience with these shoes? I'm asking about the freerider and the freerider contact specifically. Are the soles really as sticky as Five Ten claims them to be?

That said, I'm not so sure about the rubber compound being "sticky" per se. It may be more that it's a solid enough compound so as not to give way when pressed against metal pins of a pedal. The soles are also stiffer than, say, skateboarding shoes, which I believe contributes to their performance when on the pedals.
