Because of the state budget cuts, it is a VERY strong possibility that John Bryan State Park, as well as 28 other state parks, may be facing large staff cuts (including Law Enforcement) as well as closures. The parks may be closed seasonally or areas of the parks may be closed. If you all care about
the parks and want to continue riding at John Bryan, please contact your state representative and anyone else you can think of. Media, friends, family. This has been kept very quiet for the public, I think the state government is just hoping that they can close the parks and no one will notice.

As an avid camper and all around enjoyer of the state parks here I am a bit concerned. I will get some emails and letters together today to send out.

It is hard to beleive that a state park system that was #1 in the nation a few years ago is now facing this!
