Thinking of changing bar tape

Ok, so I've recently bought a Giant Revolt 2 that is grey and black in color. As of now it's completely stock with black bar tape and seat. I was thinking of going with a dark brown brooks saddle and dark brown tape. I want to have a bit of a classic look on a modern bike, only problem is I'm not sure it would look good on such an unusual looking bike, such as the Revolt. Anyone have any pics that could help?

Bikes: Catrike 559 I own some others but they don't get ridden very much.

1. It's your bike so the only person it has to please is you.

2. It's only bar tape. If you try it and decide later that you don't like it, $10.00 will buy you new bar tape in any color that you think you'll like better. There's no easier way to change the look of your bicycle.

Bikes: En plus one

Something like A B15 Swallow would not look out of place on that bike and would add a touch of class n my opinion.

How much saddle to bar drop do you run?

What do you mean by saddle to bar drop? Sorry, but I'm still kind of a noob.

Btw, that b15 saddle is very nice. Yikes! $189 on amazon. A bit pricey.

The difference in height between your handle bars and you seat. So if you seat is level with your handlebars, the drop would be zero.

I ask because if you run a lot of drop, like the racers do, then you need a seat like the Swallow.
If your seat is nearly level with your handlebars then something like a B17 will also work.

Ah ok. My seat is even with my bars, so I'm assuming a b17 would work quite nicely. Thanks all.

Brooks stuff is pricey, Brooks handlebar tape is usually around $60.

Yes and it should be a bit cheaper too.

Decided to go with red bar tape. I think it sets it off very nicely. Doesn't look as classic, but looks sporty and gives it some flash. I know there is a red brooks b17 out there, maybe I could go with that.
