Do the clouds hate me?

Well after weeks of getting rained on while going to and coming home from work (I work overnight so the rain gets really annoying). I bought a set of fenders.

It seems that it wouldn't rain all day (whether forecast or damn not) but 2 minutes after I leave my house at 10pm - BAM, downpour. So contrary to my personal preference I bought them. Guess What? It seems the clouds are now dried up and I've no use for them.

As a test I took them off one night (thinking that the clouds could see that I did/didn't have them and would re-act accordingly). Wouldn't you know it; 5 minutes into the ride - BAM, downpour. What can you do? I just laughed.

Now I will keep them on and hope they(the clouds) give up on me eventually.
What have I done to deserve this. I am a relatively nice guy. I don't pollute by smoking or throwing crap on the ground and for some reason they have chose to pick on me.

Do anyone else feel that the clouds are after them too. Maybe we can get a co-alition together and sign a petiition or protest or something.

I offer up burnt offerings of incense and the first off-springs of the local Fly population; with the proper incantations and obeisance, it seems to do wonders for me. Haven't had to ride in the rain once this season.

Since most storms move west to east, I'll give you a heads up on when to expect to get wet - or - you can just take my regular commute time (I'm an 8 to 5'er) and add the time it takes a storm to get from Michigan to Toronto and bingo (or Wham as you so eloquently said it) you are wet.

Today, it rained on the way to work, cleared up for a beautiful day and rained again just after 5:00, the first round should be at your place about 10:00 tonight!

Thanks, just in time. That's when I leave to go to work.

1) Put the fenders back on
2) When it gets so dry the crops are about to dry up you can take them off for a fee.

You'll be a modern "rainman"
lol
