I have 1. I wear it maybe 75% of the time. Never for casual riding. I don't see any reason to own more than 1 helmet. When I get a new one, I'll take a baseball bat to the current one.

My head was involved with a pretty hard crash onto pavement, occasioned by the front end of a Lexus SUV that ran a stop sign.
