Bikes: Basso Luguna, Fuji Nevada

It looks they are the same except for wheels and tires, would 25c or 40 wide suit your riding better? If it was my only bike I'd rather have the 25C tires and stick to the road but as a +1 I'd rather have the 40mm tires for some adventure riding alternatives.

You are exactly right. It is a plus one and 40 tires are big and slow.
