AMF Roadmaster Skyrider Deluxe

Happy weekend everyone! I'm new to the forum and just picked up a Roadmaster Skyrider Deluxe step through bike from a yard sale. I believe it's late 50's or early 60's but I'm not sure. It's in decent shape, but all of the wear parts need to be replaced. I was wondering if anyone can help me with what size tires would fit this bike. I would like to get the widest tires that will fit, but I'm not sure where to start. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Well I figured out what size tires I need (26 x 1.75) so I went out and got some cheap 26 x 1.75-2.25 tires just to see if I could get the old bike rolling again. It turns out they are WAY too tall to fit inside the fenders(which are not very straight anyway). I assume I need to find some lower profile tires, but I have to figure out what tires are considered low profile. Are tires sized exactly 1.75 a lower profile than these more "universal" tires?
Thanks
