New blke
Hello I am new to the bike world and I am looking for some advise. I would like to purchase a new bike and have been doing some research and thought I had my mind made up with the Specialized Allez E5 sport but another deal has come along for a Norco valance c4 a new 2013 model full carbon frame all around it had better components for the same price. According to the reviews the Specialized is rated better. Which would you choose?

Ride both if you can. see which one "sings" to you, fit , comfort, perception of weight, and control. Yes I believe that the Norco has a step up in components,(Tiagra vrs Soro ) but if the bicycles don't meet the aforementioned criteria, it just doesn't matter.

If by reviews you mean Bike Radar, take one review with a grain of salt. As jforman said, just get the one that feels better to you, because that is the only review that counts.

Thanks for the input, I did take both out and settled on the Norco, the full carbon was just a smother ride and the guys at the shop did a great job fitting me on the bike.
