2015 Defy 3 vs. 2016 Defy 3 - Which one should I get?

2015 Defy 3 vs. 2016 Defy 3 - Which one should I get?
After 2 years of riding my cheapo single speed (road bike with drop bars), I have finally decided to bite the bullet and get a proper road bike. I do ride consistently but consider my self recreational, maybe about 10-20km per week.
I have narrowed it down to the following:
- 2016 Giant Defy 3
- 2015 Giant Defy 3
- 2015 Spec Allez Sport - if I want a slightly more aggressive feel
- 2015 Giant Revolt - for ideal mixed riding (I have a 30km packed gravel loop path beside my house, but any road bike with 25/28s is sufficient if I ride slow)
(Prices are all within <$70 USD of each other - converted from Canadian)
What is the diff between a 2015 and 2016 Defy 3? The only thing I could pick out from the site is that the 2016 uses a threaded bottom bracket as opposed to a cartridge. The 2016 is like ~7% higher in price than 2015 model (the price that I can get it for where I am).
