Pet Trailers
So I'm wanting to take my dog on some rides with me, and am needing a pet trailer. Anyone have any recommendations?

Found used child trailer and converted to a pup trailer. Took out seats, sides and straps, put some pressure treated wood down for floors and sides.....kept top on in case of rain, he is harnessed to center support rail that I left on...
trailer was 40.00 and wood about 15.00 . Filled cooler and we take a ride to the beach which is a couple of miles away. Added some lights for night riding around the neighborhood.

I just used a kid's trailer, un-modified. I did replace the steel rims with alloy, but only because I'd just got into wheel building and wanted the practice. When the dog grew old and died, I sold the trailer as a kids trailer to someone who wanted it for... kids.
Incidentally, my dog loved getting out with the family on the bikes. Mind you, we stuck to bike paths though that was more due to having young kids on bikes than having the dog as well. I've a photo somewhere, that I can't find unfortunately, showing me on a hybrid, my daughter hooked behind on a tag-along bike and hooked to that, the dog trailer

Back in the '90s we took in a small dog. I made a dog trailer out of an old golf-bag caddy and a small dog carrier. Dog hated it and cried the whole time. More recently we had a cat-stoller and the cat loved it. I wonder if I can get her in a bike trailer. SHe's not gonna sit on my shoulders like that one video.
