Cake and eat it too?
So we have free cake here at work today. And again I got to have the biggest piece of cake and I get to take some home because everyone says I deserve it because I bike to work. I am so skinny because I bike to work. Now, really, if they only knew how much I drank they would know I eat plenty. This just means I don't have to make cake or brownies tonite.
Does anyone else experience this at their work places?
This is a new job for me and already I have this rep and I have had it at all my work places.
I have to say I love it and it is a benefit to biking.
i heart cake.

Not too much these days, but once, when doing a long tour, I rode up to a Pizza Hut and ordered a Large Pizza and a Salad... the waitress asked me if I wanted to wait for my friends.
Told her "no one else is coming... I'm eating it all."
The look on her face was priceless. I was a skinny 150 LB cyclist in those days.

Where I work there is no more cake. But yeah, nobody eates my frozen burritos or pizzas. there was one time, someone left my pizzas and some popsicles on top of the freezer.. The popsicles thawed all over my pizzas. Two of the sales girls found the mess, they were almost done cleaning up as I went to grab a pizza. They offered to take me to lunch, and first thing out of one of them was CiCi's (all you can eat pizza buffet).

I heart cake as well. My job is infamous for 'pigouts.' It's terrible, really. (And I cannot afford it at this time!)

During my 40-mile ride last Saturday, all I could think about was pizza. When I got home, my wife, out of the blue, says "how about pizza for dinner." I ended up eating half a sausage pizza, biggest meal in weeks, and I still lost 2 lbs. last week.
