I store my bikes in the basement. My garage is in the basement which is my area of the house. between lawn and garden equipment, tools and bikes I am running out of bike room I have two incoming bikes and I will be out of storage with out stacking stuff. Ain't a bad problem having things you want, but it is a problem .

Take over a room in the house for the bikes.

might fit a couple in the reloading room but getting the to the upstairs would be a pain

+1 storage shed in backyard. You can get decent sized plastic shed that assemble in hours and hold mowers, tool, and such.

Get rid of the lawn and garden stuff.

Have you tried hanging the bikes from ceiling hooks? I hang each of mine on a hook holding the rear wheel, so the bike is vertical. They are in the dining room, but nobody uses it for dining anyway. They can be mounted surprisingly close together.

I hope your bikes didn't hear you say that.........

+1, an easy fix.

I have hung bikes on ropes from the garage roof trusses. An easy way is to hang each bike from 2 looped ropes--one for the handlebars and one for the saddle. You don't even need hooks--just knotted loops in each end of the ropes.

Also, racks are available that lean against the wall and hold 3 or 4 bikes in the footprint of 1 bike. I bet there are even DIY videos on youtube for making your own leaning rack.

Growing a garden, fishing and bike riding are the things that keep me sane the grillo is vital to the gardening in 10 minutes it coverts from this reartine tiller to a front mower deck

Haven't you heard of N+1? The shed never solves the problem, it just kicks it into the future.

Buy 1 less bike, sell the tiller, hire a gardener, and spend more time riding.

You can always park the car out in the driveway......opens up space for at least 6 more bikes.

I used to do a garden but then I realized my wife was giving all the orders and I was doing all the work. Sold the tractor, sold the tiller, and had a lot more time to ride bikes, kayak, race boats, and other fun things.

I have to agree with the OP- lawn equipment is as important or more important than bikes! (Quite frankly, I enjoy mowing eith my tractors more than I enjoy riding my bikes)[Am I banned yet?]

Some items are just not expendable: Dogs; Tools; mowing equipment; reference books (Less so now with the interwebz, but some are still indispensable)....

But there is one thing that is not only expendable, but which is ridiculously expensive to maintain; does not age well; constantly makes a lot of noise; is a source of constant frustration; and will likely cost you at least half of everything you have, sooner or later. Something which takes up immense storage space (and always the best in the house, while relegating your stuff to the cruder areas) and complains incessantly when you fart. Can you guess what it is? (Get rid of that, if you have one, and life will be sweet! Seriously!)

Gardening is bad for the environment. Fertilizers and herbicides leech into groundwater and causes algea bloom in the coast line. The exhaust from your lawnmower and tiller are worse than from any automobile or motorcycle. Go native. Replace that imported grass with native grass and let the weeds take over.

But I would have to till it up to plant the native stuff:D I use sustainable gardening using as much organics as possible and using chemicals as sparingly as possible. My wife says I love that tractor and my Long Haul trucker more than her
