Thanks, I had just gotten that CF seat post clamp that failed during the first ride. I realize now it was due to something I missed when picking out the part but had already decided to order an anodized red. I also have anodized brake block holders but they don't allow the pads to be toed in so I didn't use them.
I agree about some of this stuff seeming expensive but some times it's the price of quality. I've been through 3 or 4 saddle bags because the straps tear loose, might not have happened with higher priced name brands. I need to take them and have the strap sewed back on. Is the pink the OEM color for your bike? Yeah its the original color- "Ice Pink", they called it. Came in pink and blue that year...Midnight Mauve for the blue, IIRC. I'm having a surprisingly hard time finding a perfect match to do touch ups with :( Mixing my own isn't working either, of course! Yeah, exactly. I was going to go cheap with Amazon on my next bags but I get so caught up in the reviews and just can't take the chance lol...I'm actually a bit surprised Castelli isn't putting a slightly higher price on their new line of bags, but I hear the brand is good, so I figure I might just go ahead with it. Decided the same for my handlebar bag from Detour...though today I found it on Amazon listed at $18 instead of the $30+ I was planning to pay:D |

My bikes will be vintage in about 20 years. Oldest bike I have is an '07 Trek hardtail 26er.
