Very very very fee posts less than two years old about Boyd wheels. And if that, not many owners chiming in.

Yup. Asking specifically for owner based feedback on this one brand. Seems logical for my purposes and for folks who come behind me searching for the same info in the future, to have e a specific thread dedicated to Boyd wheels. Not much on the internet about them, even less about the new design 44's

I can answer any questions you may have. We do have a lot of forum based reviews, that have basically helped us establish ourselves as a brand. The problem with the internet is. . .well, it's kind of big! So, even though we have lots of good reviews they are spread over tons of sites (some with lots of people, others with small traffic).

This forum has been great for us over the years with lots of good discussions, but we are also now selling through a lot of bike shops throughout the country (over 250 shops now carry the wheels in the US). With that and not only being a direct to consumer brand, a lot of the discussion is happening on the shop level vs. on the forums.

I've also gotten really busy and my time for playing on the forums has suffered a bit. I still like to post, but haven't been able to as much as a few years ago. I used to post around here quite regularly.

Our Facebook page is actually a great source for feedback of people riding the wheels. I get super humbled by all of our customers who will go out of their way to comment on posts about how much they love their wheels. It's not solicited in any way, just positive feedback from happy customers. As a company, it's the best feedback we could hope for.

Why no tubular rims? Seems deficient in a carbon line of wheels. Or did I miss something on the rims page?

edit: opens up a whole new world of (?better?) tire options.

Got the 44mm clinchers on my R3 and am super happy with them. Got about 3000 miles on bumpy pot hole filled metro Boston roads.

I recently bought a set of 44's. I can't say enough good about them. Fast, lightweight, and durable. I have a riding companion that has a set he absolutely beats on them. He's been riding them for several years and hasn't had to do any maintenance on them. Tough as nails. You won't be sorry you bought them.

I just need to add them to the site. Right now about 3% of our rim brake carbon wheel sales are tubulars. And with adding the rims, I wanted to focus on the clinchers first as that is all we have been asked about. I'll get the tubulars up there, especially in the disc brake as people are getting those for cross.

I realize I'm a little late to the party, but I have nothing but good things to day about Boyd wheels. I bought a set of Boyd Vitesse wheels for my CAAD8 build, and they are still true and riding great after 3-4k miles. I checked the spoke tension when I got them and all was great. After the first season I check the tension at the beginning of each season and have found them to be stable and they have stayed true.

Some of the best $$ I spent on components for my build - since then I have learned to build my own wheels, but that does not diminish the quality of my Boyd wheels. Great value and quality.
