London v Melbourne
I think there will be a few people around who have experienced both.
In terms of general lifestyle and good cycling culture (ie lots of clubs and cycling communities cafes etc) which do you prefer. Currently living in London but considering a relocation. I’ve found cycling great here so far, but my experience is Australia is a lot friendlier and close knit (I’m from nz originally, but far too small).
Any experiences to share? Overall, which do you prefer?

I have lived just north of Melbourne for a number of years, and I have visited London several times.
Personally, I think I'd go for Melbourne.
But keep in mind that there are lots of great places outside Melbourne ... don't just stay in the city.

The places to go are either in the North East (Yarra Valley) or East (Dandenong Range) of Melbourne. They are about 30+km from the CBD. Best if you stay nearer to the east side to avoid riding through the traffic while leaving the CBD.
