Back in 2011, I probably did! I had issues with the saddle that came on my first road bike, back then. Because of the saddle, I never really did very many long rides after my first MS. I kept that bike for about a year before getting my Colnago Ace. I rode the OEM saddle for about 4 months before I couldn't take it any longer. Ended up with an ISM Adamo Prologue and haven't looked back since then. Both my road bikes have the ISM Prologue saddle on them.

Every body is different. I tried BG for a couple of Sprints and gave it the deep six. CB worked just fine for my full Ironman triathlons and even had no issue when I biked the 112 miles non-stop in 2014 IMFL.

Chamois B'ttr works for me...I use petroleum jelly occasionally for my special purpose. Okay, sorry that does not sound right. On training days, my shorts go straight to the wash on my way through the house...for out of town rides, I hand rinse them in a sink and lay them in pickup bed to air dry until I can get them in the wash.

For what it's worth. I always used Chamois Buttr from the tube. When it gets low, I would cut it open to get the last schmear. I went to a different bike shop and all they had was th he tub with screw top lid. Much easier to use, and no waste when you get to the bottom ... if the tub, I mean.
