i really like sturmey archer aw hubs. the poe is really low. and yet i survive.

I always thought POE was "purity of essence."

yes but there is a "dimishing returns" aspect of it. going from 16poe to infinite was a real eyeopener for me but then when I had about 15000km on the true precision hub and went to DT 36 poe it was maybe only a slight difference to the worse.

What was far far more important was the availability of parts (i'm in europe and dt parts can be had in any good bike store), also its bizarrely quick to service/lube. The dts are very simple constructions inside and the whole hub seems to have only 2 o-rings, whereas the more exotic things like the TP/CK and so on has several that will wear out and break when you least want them to.

Basically, running DT is very practical compared to all other hubs except maybe shimanos. Yeah its not the best quality, not the best longevity, nor the best engagement but its simply good enough all round.

with that being said my next hubs will be WI XMR or CLDs (depending on what discs I have laying around in my parts bins)

you mean like from a prostitute?

of course there is a difference. its 16 to 120, to unlimted poe :) but you have to ask yourself is it really needed?
for some it is, for some its not.

I clearly prefer the practicality aspect of it. since I chose dt 240 and 350 hubs, but i still have true precisions, and these are just like the newer onyx except there is no sponge with the TPs, its 0,00% sponge/flex, whereas the onyxes are spongey as fu*k go figure.

and yeah its cool to run the infinite poe hubs but for me personally its not really "needed", I prefer the dts for the ease/speed of maintainence and the availability, wityh that beiong said I dont think these are better than TP. not in any way shape or form no. but easier to live with. we all pick our battles.

However....

√(60 sound + 120 sound) = 13.4 sound

Does that answer your question?

oh,it is not mathematical problem, but you are great !
I just wanna that the 60 sound and 120 sound ,the difference between them ,it depends on hub structure inside of hub gear wheel. 60 sounds , the space between gear wheel is twice double against 120 sound that helps cyclist to save more energy, may fell more comfortable when cycling. more hug gear wheel ,smaller space between gear wheel, the rate of trackslip of hub is more than 60 sound .
