Thule rack lock problem
I have a Thule Spare Me Pro and it hasn’t been used in a while. After I locked the security cable... I can’t seem to get it unlocked. It seems like the tumbler or release latch inside is stuck. I tried putting some graphite lube into the key hole and it helped the key turn a bit further but still won’t release the lock. It only turns a quarter rotation.
I’ve tried wiggling it for several minutes but I think I’ve hit a wall. Any other thoughts on what I can try? |

Use a wet penetrating lubricant (liquid wrench, kroil, seafoam, etc), and let it sit for 20-30 minutes, preferably where gravity can help pull it in.
