First ride of the year

Finally after this really cold snowy rotten winter, we got a 70 degree day and I got in my first ride of the year. It was only 18 miles to down town and back, but it felt great.

Some years in the winter months we get a day or two every month for a ride, but not this year. Here in Nebr it has been much colder than usual. After a complete clean repair and adjust, the trike performed great.

The great news is that there is just 13 days till solar spring here in Lincoln. Yes the 17th is the day that has equal day and night. Therefore finally more and more warm day are finally coming.

Must have been a memorable ride, you've posted about it in at least three different threads today! Or maybe it slips away and you forget you've posted? Either way, it's good you can still get out some

I think Spring is finally here. I've managed to get in almost 100 miles so far this year. But March came in like a lion and now it's windy as heck. It did help me ascend a hill at 18 MPH this weekend, though.

Second Nor'Easter in less than a week going to hit tomorrow night into Wednesday. One of my co-workers has been without power since Friday, and the wind is still blowing from that storm. Spring is definitely not here.
