Swapping Chainrings Help / Advice

The bike in the link is there any reason why I couldn't swap the chainrings out for 48/32 or 46/30 and is it something I could possibly do myself or do you need some specialist tools??

If anyone could point me in the direction of which may be compatible as well it'd be really appreciated so I don't get the wrong thing and I'm not sure if there are any differences between them or if any manufacturers 48/32 would fit.

#1 any chainring smaller than it's own mounting bolt circle won't work ..

But,
It actually happens that since OEM factories buy whole chainsets ,
not individual chainrings,
better prices come from replacing the cranks completely.

yes, external bearing BB need its own set of specialist tools..
that's what this "Bottom Bracket; FSA BB-4000 " IS..

Agghh ... OK ... So something like this??

I'm guessing it wouldn't need a new BB as well unless it's worn??

I'd be guessing , too..

Get it with the BB, if it is the same, you have a good deal price
on having a spare..

the smallest you could go is a t.a. 33 tooth on that crank. The 50 could be replaced with a 46 or 48
