Breezer Bikes - Verdict

Looking to replace a Marin Muirwoods with a Breezer Cafe Radar

Anyone have any strong opinions on this Breezer brand? or any recommendations for decent a steel frame urban load carrier?

Cheers

Breezer makes a great bike, but your Muirwoods is pretty much the same bike. Unless there’s something wrong with the Marin, I don’t see what you would be gaining with the Breezer.

Whatever the case, you can buy a Breezer with confidence - they’re not junk.

Bikes: Just a bunch of bikes.

Don't know much about their adventure bikes, but I love my Supercell. Breezer seems to be thoughtfully designed and well made Asian bikes..

Bikes: a few that I can't recall

Should be able to buy any Breezer cheap right now.

If you don't go with the Breezer, I've grown to love my Novara, REIs house brand. They have a decent selection of steel touring/utility/rough road bikes.

My thoughts were Joe Breeze should have kept to building Breezers and ASI should have maybe not existed. Joe made excellent mountain bikes and road bikes and would have rather him not have gone to ASI. I am not saying he couldn't also make nice hybrids as well but just again not as ASI. Not attacking this bike in particular because from looks it is a decent bike though me personally would have wanted a carbon fork on it.

Breezer > Fuji. Fuji > Breezer.

Same company. Same components, Oval Concepts, Bike Nashbar, Performance Bicycle

Joe Breeze may still do some frame designs, but it's not different than Chevrolet vs Pontiac

I like the products. I like Marin too.
