I am getting ready to get in my last ride of 2018. I have had another really good bicycle year. I did not keep track of any stats this year, but I believe I am 4000 to 4500 miles. I have challenged myself with learning to do my own maintenance/mechanical work. I purchase a work-stand and tools late last year. I have done a lot of work on all four of my bikes. I have made quite a few mistakes, but, I have also learned a great deal. Bike Forums members have been very generous and helpful with the input and advice I have received in 2018. I sincerely thank all!
The thought just came to me that I should ride all 4 bikes today, not just the Schwinn, which I have ridden most of the time the past couple of months. So, enough posting for now. Time to start my engine and get pedaling.
Wishing a great bicycling 2019 to all Bike Forums members!

that's a fun idea, riding all your bikes in one day. I once attempted a century & swapped bikes at the 1/2 way point (up & back a 25 mile trail) except the 4 lengths only added up to 88 miles ...
have fun! good luck! happy new year!
