Shvoll-buh, short 'O.' It's German, and it's pronounced just the way it's spelled (German pronunciation.)

I've used their cyclocross tubulars - great grip and roll out is amazing. Go from pavement to grass and you don't feel like there's any more rolling resistance.

Schwalbe MTB tires are also excellent and available in a very wide range for different terrain and wear and rolling resistance.

The Nobby Nics will get you through sand fast and in safety.
