I almost had a crash recently because a man went through the wrong "gate" at a MUP street crossing and came at me head on, on my side. I had already slowed down, and was just able to go around his shocked face... I muttered "come on, seriously"as I went by. His response began with "F" and ended in "you". This particular MUP, getting lots of rental bike tourists, has rules posted in many places, but I don't expect them to be followed. Hope, yes. Expect, no. Same goes for the road, these days.
