Castelli Sizing HELP needed: Perfetto Light 2 SS (Large) vs Perfetto Long sleeve?

I have a castelli Perfetto Light 2 (short sleeve) in Large & it fits me well.
Close fitting, like a second skin but not too tight.
Awesome piece of kit.

I'm considering purchasing the Long Sleeve version but am not sure about the sizing. (I can only buy online where I live).

Has anybody tried or maybe owns both the Short Sleeve Perfetto Light,
& the Long Sleeve Perfetto (or the convertible)?

Would I need a L sized Long Sleeve version as well, or are they sized differently?
The convertible is also on my radar so anybody who is willing to share their experience is more than welcome.

You might get more help if you indicate your own dimensions (eg. chest size, height etc). ie. some may only own the long sleeve so can't compare to your SS version.

Not the Perfetto, but I have had the Gabba 2 in both short sleeve and long sleeve versions, same size (XXL). As most people would assume, they fit the same.

Gratitude for taking time to reply. Appreciated!

It seems I would be fine if opting for the same size Long Sleeve.

There are no guarantees in life, but I think this one is a pretty safe bet.

We're talking about Castelli here, so not a safe bet at all, IMO.

Thanks for your input, I'm curious what makes you arrive at that conclusion.

Do you own/use the Castelli Perfetto by any chance?

I own & have owned a number of Castelli things, & only one has fit true to size & been overall successful.

Even accounting for euro (midget) sizing, their stuff seems to vary randomly in size, & a few other gripes. (I'm 6', 32" waist, so not such an outlier AFAS fitting cycling clothing.)

I've written the whole brand off, but many seem to manage fine, so YMMV.
