WOW!

That makes sense, he exuded that innate humility often seen in someone or something at the top of their game. Mental note: pedal faster in the future.

Well, contrary to popular belief, roadrunners can fly, they just don't very often. One of the coolest moves they do is 'run' up the side of buildings. They use their wings to basically hold themselves to the side of a vertical wall while they run up it. I've seen one go all the way up the side of a 3 story building that way.

Little yappers on your pants leg

When I was an at&t installer; many times I had to walk around a resident's home with a little yapper dog attached to my pants leg while the owner says "it's OK, he won't bite"
People with unruly dogs & ugly naked housewives in robes that fall open when it's actually in the afternoon;
and when I called to tell you that I'll be there soon and she doesn't put clothes on ??

I left that job quick as I could.
( One of the open robe naked ugly housewives was married to an at&t employee who got me written up for not fixing their service;
I was grossed out as heck; went to the local box and simulated a failure signal and left, so grossed out. )

"Defendant sold over the counter, without caveat, a product which attached powerful jet engines (in this case, two) to inadequate vehicles, with little or no provision for passenger safety. Encumbered by his heavy casts, Mr. Coyote lost control of the Rocket Skates soon after strapping them on, and collided with a roadside billboard so violently as to leave a hole in the shape of his full silhouette."

Nothing so fierce as a dog, big or small, however.. I had the opportunity to ride the Erie Canal trail from Cleveland south through Independence and almost to Akron on a nightly basis after work. A lovely doe got scared the first time i rode by, but nightly after that as she became more comfortable, she would scamper along in the brush alongside the towpath for progressively longer runs. Great fun!

That is awesome.

The closest similar experience I've had with nature is riding down the street when the low flying Muscovy ducks make their flight path the same as my bike path. Those suckers are huge compared to the hawks and doves around here.
