Thule racks for front disc brake

Hello

My Thule rack system attaches at the front fork. It is at least 20 years old.

I recently bought my wife a cruiser that has disc brakes and the mechanism attached to the fork impedes the attaching the front fork lock.

Has Thule come up with a front fork attachment for these?

Most fork-mount rails now accomodate disk brakes.

Yes, there are adapters available, most of them are for thru-axles, since that's what's most common for disk brakes. Does have Thru-axle or QR?

Adapters can be had from Thule or aftermarket, like https://www.hurricanecomponents.com/

If it is the old standard QR fork mount style tray just take a hack saw and cut a chunk out of the tray to clear the disk brake caliper. That is what I did to mine anyway. The thin aluminum tray isn't really structural. They make or made racks that didn't even have a tray. Just two separate parts, one fork lock and one rear wheel strappy dohickly.

edit
Pic of what I actually did. Just cut it so I could bend it in enough to clear the caliper. This was an old rack when I bought it for $20 15 years ago and even then it was my second rack in case I needed to carry two bikes.
