Cost has nothing to do with comfort. Cheap and expensive saddles cover the same basic range of shapes. I have tried a lot of saddles ranging from narrow racing saddles to Brooks B-17 and have never been completely satisfied with any of them. I was most happy with the Charge Knife saddle until I found this $20 carbon saddle that is sold in a myriad of color schemes on ebay from China. I bought it to use temporarily on a new bike build, and it turned out to work better than anything else. I have since replaced the saddles on most of my bikes with this saddle and have used it for bikepacking trips and all-day rides. There is nothing magical about it..it just works with my anatomy and riding position.
The fact that it is cheap and (absurdly) light are great bonuses.
