Need some recommendations on bike options

Hello guys! I wanted some recommendations on the type of bike I should buy for a 14 day touring to Belgium (5 days of cycling from Brussels to Bruges, 2ith days in between to explore the cities). This is my first cycle tour and so far I have been only cycling to and fro to work about 15kms in total and some weekend trips near by. I currently use a Dutch bike and am living in the Netherlands (flaaaatttttt roads). Do you think a non geared dutch bike will serve me well or should I upgrade to a hybrid? I would also like to use it later for commute to work.

Any help is appreciated.

Maybe a hybrid is a good choice so not as radical different than say a road bike from what your riding now. Low gears may be helpful. Is the tour self-supported? Hills or mountains? If you do get a different bike I'd get it soon as possible before the tour to get it fitted properly and use to riding a different bike.

I dont recall it taking 5 days to get to Bruges from Brussels but there are a lot of small roads to lose your way on.

Hybrid* with trekking bars is a decent touring kit..
*What we (USA) call a bike with out dropbars ... with 700c (622-35 tire)
