Glad they're sticking around for the long haul and just taking a break for now. I don't want to derail this thread but....
This story (and the comments in this thread) reminded me of a discussion I had with a co-worker back in my consulting days. At any given time I had 7-10 clients I was working on projects with. Most of these clients I'd worked with before; I liked working with them and they liked working with me. Sometimes all my projects were at phases where I was very involved but, no matter how busy/frantic it got, I did my best to keep my clients happy.
At any given time, my co-worker would have 4-20+ clients with active projects. This meant he was either underworked/bored or overworked and underperforming/underdelivering. However, regardless of his workload he was always looking for new clients, and he would spend a lot of time and effort into trying to get new clients. For every one proposal I wrote he probably wrote 10. I realized the big difference in our approach was I didn't need to look for new clients as long as I kept my current 7-10 clients happy.
