PDM Concorde Squadra stolen in Burbank 12.20.20
My brother had his Erik Breukink team PDM Concorde stolen from his garage today at 1100-1300. I know others have spoken about a stolen bike list in LA if you have that info msg me please. Custom geometry it's is a 56 st 55 tt and has his name on a sticker on the top tube by the seat tube. 8 speed record stuff with a Bullseye hub, tied and soldered freewheel, rear wheel. Thanks in advance. Painted in PDM team colors. Reward for return.

This is one of my favorite race bikes of the late eighties/early nineties. I think these are made from Columbus TSX tubes, which were professional grade tubes with a bit more comfort than other Columbus tubing of the time. TSX is a bit rare, I'll bet this bike rides really nicely. I believe the frames were made by Ciocc. The fact that this one is a personal bike owned by a famous pro makes it even cooler. Hope he gets in back.
If he does, please for the love of all that is holy, ditch the mountain bike pedals and and array of cheap headlights. Everything on this looks original. Get a set of old Look or Time pedals, maybe go back to downtube shifting and it's perfect.

The frames were made by Bilatto, Ciocc is a completely different brand. TSX was lighter than SLX and used in some smaller frame sizing, though not really great for larger riders; too flex. My bro used this bike as his own so his choice of adornments is, well, his. However it's irrelevant since the bike is probably painted and sold for $50 to some hipster for a SS conversion.

Bikes: Raleigh Quadra, Dancelli Max, Sancineto Max, Chesini Innovation, Chesini K2, Scapin KS-Pro, Cotic Roadrat, Concorde Squadra, Olmo Super Light
Edit: There seems to be considerable dispute as to who made these frames for Concorde. I think we agree that they were made in Italy (and not by Concorde themselves).
TSX is fine for larger riders and was used for all frame sizes. Columbus quoted weights for frames were SLX 1966g; TSX 1945g. The contemporary tubeset for BIG pros was SPX - quoted at 2325g.
Hope you recover the bike.
Here’s mine (62cm):

Bikes: Trek 1100, Raleigh R-500, Cannondale R800, Roadmaster gravel/beater mountain bike
Go to bikeindex.org and list it there. And obviously if you haven't yet, report it to your local police. If you have the serial number, it can be found again.

Further searching online shows that no can seem to agree who made these frames. The most common answer is Ciocc, but some say Bilatto, others say Pelizzoli. I'll defer to you since you've actually seen one. It's possible that everyone's right and all of these makers made frames for PDM branded as Conconde, such a thing was very common in the 80s and 90s. For example, 7-11's Huffys and Murrays were rebadged Serotta, Merckx, Land Shark or DeRosa frames depending on the specific rider and specific year in question.

As the US importer for these frames '90-'95 I placed orders for and received/shipped out most of the Concorde's in NA. This thread is about spreading the word on a stolen bike so maybe another thread is called for where the origins of the frame can be debated ad nauseam.
