How hot is it there?

For the last 8 days here, its been over 100. Yesterday was 107 today is supposed to be 105. And i can't wait to get out and ride to my lbs then to the gym in an hour! So how hot is is where you are and are you still riding or has the heat taken it's toll on you?

Bikes: Mercier Corvus (commuter), Fila Taos (MTB), Trek 660(Got frame for free and put my LeMans Centurian components on it)

We hit 117 in some parts of town last week. Make you feel better? The humidity went up toward the end of the week and the temps took a nose dive down to 114.

90 Hot and Humid. Not bad until the steep 2 mile hill looms in the distance, then I dread every minute of it.

105 in my part of Northern California the last couple of days, so I ride pretty early. Funny thing is that my family and I are going to the eastern Sierras for a few days. I thought it would be cooler in Bishop, but read the paper that it's been 106 the last couple of days. Oh well....

It's been well over 100 here for weeks. During the summers I usually confine myself to dawn rides, but it still gets hot in a hurry. By 9 am it's unbearable for me.

34 c. / 93 f. on my rides in the mountains here in Kyoto. Last friday we did 78 km's in it and have decided that was too far in that heat. We will cut back to around 53 km's.

High 80s to low 90s, but the humidity is the killer. If I ride I go either at 7.00am or 6.00pm bcuase during the day it's unbearable.

With heat index....we (Florida) are over 100 and humid like crazy to boot. I've taken to riding in evenings lately.....seems to work better than mornings for me (temp starts hot and gets cooer instead of the other way around).

High 80's-low 90's, and humid as Aquaman's armpit. If I was a plant, I'd want to be in Tennessee.

90 something and very humid. Yesterday rode 35 miles, blowing my nose and sweat running into my eyes the whole way. I really need a helmet liner.

We've been having hot humid weather for two weeks now- temps in the 80s and 90s and the humidity is horrible. Friday was about 85 but DRY and it made such a difference. You have to ride really early or late in the day. I work mornings and go for late day rides. But sometimes it's just unbearable! I went for a 50k ride yesterday late afternoon and it got me COOKED!

Today it's raining for the first time in a week and it's a STEAMBATH. The same for tomorrow and possibly tuesday- it's because of the Hurricane. Hot, unstable and humid with risk of thunderstorms. RIght now there's a severe storm warning. IT's supposed to improve midweek thank god!

Bikes: more, please.

Mid to upper 90's, high humidity, heat index 100-105, no wind, showers every other day or so... typical July/August.

I live near KC, MO and it got up to 96 (+humidity) today. I've already got a 38 mile ride in today before noon, and I'm going to go out again in about an hour. Love it

Miami, Florida. Very Hot and Very Humid. I'm riding in the morning so as not to pass out once the sun gets revved up.

Upper 80s / low 90s for the past week. This week looks like mid-90s every day. Humidity about as thick as mud.

It was so hot yesterday that I saw a lizard crawl into my campfire just to get in the shade of the skillet. (May I have a rimshot, please?)

Here in Tallahassee, it has been in the mid 90s with humidity nearly as high. We start our weekend rides at 7:30 a.m. so as to be done before it gets unbearable.

Over in Blighty, it is 25 C (77F) today, cooling off to 23C(73F) for the rest of the week. A few very light showers to keep the dust down and the grass green.
This is really a much more pleasant temp for riding than your heatwaves.
