Hi from Aus
Hi all
I haven’t posted here for honks and am unsure we’re to put this.
I have been watching Wild Bill on television starring Rob Lowe.
I noticed he rides a road bike, all black and the handle bars (cow horn) type have got an extra support from one side to the other.
Any idea what brand of bike this is?
Thanks
Greg

I can't find a picture .... but based on shots from the series he might be riding a bike with a brake bar---the brakes are attached to a rod, not cables, and the rod attaches to the brake arms.
Could be entirely something else.

No idea, but probably some commuter-style bike. I saw one reference that said a script had him getting a speeding ticket while riding the bike, whereas the bike had gearing that made doing that impossible. Like the scene in "American Flyers" where the kid passed a semi on the highway.

A standard bike maybe? Haven't seen the show, but older standard bikes here in Korea have brake bars--rods for actuation, rather than cables.
