Jim, you might do a search on the subject - there have been endless threads on the subject. As long as I am here, yes, I shave both.
Reasons:
1. Peer pressure (most won't admit to this)
2. Looks better
3. Easier to massage
4. Easier to slather on sunscreen before and lotion after showing
5. Makes it a bit easier to deal with road rash
6. Peer pressure

Between the Pinarello frame, the Giro helmet, and the Giagessi jacket, that counts as peer pressure for me

Just do it in the shower. Wash your hair, scrub your body, then any offending hair is nice and soft, lather with a bit of shampoo and shave away. A disposable razor lasts forever that way, I don't know why guys do this in front of the sink ritual with the cream, in the shower's the way to go.
