Specialized seems to have a lot of issues with forks.

If you ride a bike with a carbon steerer, (or handlebars) you have to at least entertain the idea that it could fail catastrophically and decide if you're good with it.

I see no compression plug in the pic. The new aero bars have their stack way too thick that no compression plugs on the market is long enough to go all the way down like 3" to where the breakpoint in the pic indicates

Part of the redesign is to extend the wedge part of the expansion plug. A lot.

My experience from working in a Spec shop a few years back was that any one of their bikes that is actually ridden hard will have parts failures. Fork failures are less common - you'd certainly hear about broken faces and lawsuits - but any 'Specialized' branded moving part is likely to not last long, and it is UNlikely that there will be parts available to service them.

The part of the headset visible in the top of the frame looks a lot like a die for cutting threads into a steerer tube. I understand that is not what it is, but funny that some part of the assembly may be cutting/weakening the carbon of the fork in that area.
