Here's for the other 77% of the smartphoners out there: "OK Google....Take a Note....Brilliant Idea"

I've really become disappointed with Bike Forums lately. There has not been a single safety police chime in to warn of the dangers of developing brilliant ideas whilst riding! VERY DISAPPOINTING!

When I'm on a long ass brevet, with 100 miles behind me and 100 miles to go for the frickin' DAY, I have the brilliant idea of never doing this again.
Then I get home and forget. Maybe I should take a piece of paper and write it down.

Thanks for all the comments. I think I'll try Siri in a front pocket. Kind of wondering if I could put a small Bluetooth mic on my handlebars...I'll look into that.
The "brilliant ideas" might be hyperbole, but I often do think of things I need to do at home or work. Sometimes I do have pretty legit ideas about how to tackle a work task. These ideas usually come when I'm bike commuting (on mostly separated bike path or quiet road). I'd rather not stop, but a phone could probably pick up my voice at the speeds I'm going.
Thanks, all. Some hilarious comments in there, too.

I'm also an attorney. Arguments or different angles often pop into my head while riding. I'm missing out on hours of billable time!!!

During my Law Review days, before the age of cell phones, much less smart phones, I came up with an outline for an important piece for the piece I was writing as I was walking home one night. Picked up the pace to my local bar and jotted it down on a cocktail napkin.

Hey now, don't knock the genius. I already figured out world peace and infinitely renewable energy... but I still had 20 miles left in my ride.

Same. I practically wrote an entire memo on the ride to work one day, skipped changing and went right to my desk to write it up before I lost it.

I like the funny replies.
Last summer, I did stop during a ride to write a note about the route design and the road conditions. The voice to text in my note/reminder app worked great.
