Ride, Rock, Rest, Repeat
I am looking for 3 other people to do a road bike tour across the country. This is a different type of tour; at night we would play acoustic gigs. So if there’s anybody that plays acoustic guitar or any other instrument that would go well with acoustic music you are more than welcome to join up. I have all the gear all you need is a bike and your instrument.
I have done this type of thing before but I used a B.O.B trailer. It’s a lot of fun to ride your bike and play music at night. I normally got an article written about what I was doing in the local paper.
If I got 3 others to join one would drive while three rode, so you get to ride 3 days and drive one. I would get an enclosed trailer to pull behind my car for our gear. The money is not bad I normally got 150.00 to play; it always helped if I called ahead and told the local newspaper I was coming. That way they would write a story on what I was doing and they would advertise where I was playing locally. For a band of four we could get a lot more than 150.00.
I basically want to hit all four corners of the U.S. So if anyone is up for this post a message or e-mail me at llittle@peterbiltofmemphis.com

A friend of mine, from childhood, does this! You can check him out at www.bicycletheband.com . From what I can tell he loves this lifestyle. As for myself the family and my job do not permit this type of lifestyle. I hope you find your 3 and we get to hear all about it. Good luck- Yvonne

Your idea does sound cool. I've been considering training to do a cross country bike ride and to through music in with that would be awsome. I do play several instruments (piano and trombone are 2 better ones).
Unfortunatly, school is first priority for me right now and will be the next 2 years.

Me too!! Just started about a month ago. Was just going on Saturday morning rides. I missed last week and will miss these next two weekends. When do you ride? I'm liking the trails alot at the moment anyway and I can do that during the week better than I can ride with the Hightailers. See ya (probably
