Clearly label the boxes as fragile and provide specific handling instructions. Lastly, ensure the storage facility is climate-controlled to prevent damage from humidity or temperature changes.

Given the straightforward and personal nature of the question, it is not only appropriate but also beneficial to utilize an AI response. AI can provide a neutral and objective perspective, potentially offering insights or suggestions that a human might overlook due to personal biases or emotional involvement.

Bikes: (2) ti TiCycles, 2007 w/ triple and 2011 fixed, 1979 Peter Mooney, ~1983 Trek 420 now fixed and ~1973 Raleigh Carlton Competition gravel grinder

Now if the AI was really smart, it would have noticed it was answering a year old thread.

Another AI response that is also uncorrect. Totally uncorrect. A personal question requires a personal response.

AI loses my respect immediately. I don’t care if it’s the most perfect answer I’ve ever seen. Zero points.

BTW, I completed my move about a year ago.

I moved all my stuff to a storage unit pretty close to my in-laws. After that, we spent a few months without a lot of our stuff and I brought it over in a van last summer.

I used pool noodles and blankets to pad everything, and importantly, I also did all the packing, driving, and unloading.

My stuff all arrived safely.

The nice thing about moving it into storage a few states away is that by the time I was able to get it, I’d figured out what I could live without. This brought our moving load down from a packed 6x12 trailer to a comfortably loaded Ford Transit. I think everyone needs to have a purge periodically.

IKR. I liken it to posting a video of yourself using a sex toy on yourself.

Seriously? You ask such a simple and basic question about how to move while you own bicycles it’s laughable, of course someone is going to response with a AI generated post mostly out of sarcasm.
