Nothing compared to what you've been through, but this reminds me of my complex
issues a few years ago. Had to do daily injections of Fragmin (very short-acting blood thinner) for about a year before hematologist decided I could go on daily aspirin (81mg) unless and until I have another dvt.

I recall just not being able to bring myself to do the self-injections for a while, until I couldn't put up with going to a clinic daily. Once I did the first one, I realized what an ass I'd been ... nothing to it.

I’m clearly better with one hand because I get bruises on one side of my tummy. I forget which one. I’ll find out because I have a colonoscopy coming up this fall. My last one was the day before Thanksgiving. Great excuse to pig out the next day.

Lol ... I just stuck with my right hand, iirc. Managed the horseshoe pattern w/o too much trouble.

I had to hold even the aspirin for my last colonoscopy (a year ago). Looking forward (not) to my next one in two years.
Even just with the daily aspirin I bleed profusely if cut; hands are always covered in bruises if I bump into anything.

That's Larry's home planet. I visited it in the spring. I asked some people there if they knew Larry and they said I should steer clear of him. They said he's from the wrong side of the cube.

But ... but ... how does one 'steer' clear on Bizarro World? Isn't there some current discussion of this vexed question here on teh Biek Formz? Perhaps counter-steering works in reverse on Bizarro World ... oh wait, what if one moves to another face of the cube ... never mind. Got a headache now.

Fortunately, I have thick skin. Don’t bruise easily.

I love the drugs they give you for the colonoscopy. The prep? Not so much. But I was so positive that I was fully drained both times that I took the bus to the hospital for the procedures.

You can sail to the "edge of the world" (Pirates of the Caribbean, etc) but what happens at the edge of the cube is unclear. Obviously most people can't tell the transition
