Long shot race identification 1981
My wife came across some old slides I took at a race on August 23, 1981. It took place in California, likely in San Francisco or at Stanford Univ. The shots include riders on public roads and through a parking lot. I am unable to find information in a search, and am hoping against all odds that someone here may recall this race so that I
can identify it.
can identify it.

Yeah, some photos would at least help establish the location.
I know Mike Jacoubowsky of Chain Reaction Bicycles was racing locally back then, he might recognize the place. Mike's email is MikeJ@ChainReaction.com

I don't have the ability to convert the slides to scanned images. No big deal as it is not important. Haven't looked at them since 1981 anyway! Off to the circular file they go.

I put the slides on a light box and photographed it using a macro lens and digital SLR, results were fine.
You could just about do it with a phone with macro mode.
