Back from the beach!

Well last week I spent the week in Cherry Grove Beach, and what a blast. I was able to ride 100 miles over the week, and I now know every crack in Ocean Boulevard. If anyone is heading to Cherry Grove, I would highly recommend taking your bike, it is a great place to ride. I got an early morning ride and over the ocean was a lightning display that was spectacular. Then on the turnaround ride I was blessed with an outstanding sunrise. Ocean Blvd rides east to west, so the sun rises over the road. It was a great week, and I am looking forward to riding beside the ocean next year. On the way down we stopped in Roanoke rapids, and I took some time to ride north to the Virginia line. I am sure the guy whose house I stopped in front of to take my picture with the sign is still shaking his head. What a tourist I am, but I had a blast. Last year I would have been in no shape to even attempt riding like this, but now I am getting stronger every day.

Check out my tourist pictures on my web page.
