"Fixin' To Die Rag" is in the same dusty brain bin as Phil Ochs' "Draft Dodger Rag," along with Noël Coward's "Don't Take Our Charlie For The Army."
Wonder if Ochs got the idea for "Draft Dodger Rag" from Coward or if they both got their ideas from some earlier source(s).
Don't take our Charlie for the Army,
He's a sensitive lad
And like his dad
His heart is far from strong,
He couldn't do route marches
On account of his fallen arches
And his asthma's something terrible
When the winter comes along,
He's a nice boy - one of the best
But when he gets a cold on his chest
He coughs until he nearly drives us barmy,
So nightie-night close the door,
Go back to the barracks and think some more
Before you take our Charlie for the Army.

Bikes: Bikes??? Thought this was social media?!?
My comment was really a whine about missing sexy leg pics. Good example = my Kalkhoff girl
Kalkhoff - Classic Rendezvous
....and tan lines...
The eight best (or worst) cycling tan lines | Cycling Weekly
Cipollini?, not in my book.

Honestly, the rhyming was hardly worth my timing.
[edit: if they pull my tan line legs pic, then every performance post, Strava brag, KoM, etc must be "slow shaming' all us less than fast riders Totally insensitive, I say.]
