Much happiness to you and your better half.
I'm with Pete. We want pix. I don't believe we've seen her before.
Pix of both of you on your bikes will be nice.

Well Rich, back as a married man.! How's it going?
Don't worry, the first few years are difficult and then you get resigned to it! j/k

Hey Chewa
Married life is good...they say it changes after you marry your partner, and it's true...for the better! *she's standing behind me at the moment so I have to say that* j/k
Hehe...living in Faversham at the moment and looking forward to hooking up with Richard D for a ride about the area. We'll have to post some pictures of the event for you guys.
Take it easy mate!
Rich

Welcome back Rich! All the best for your future and may your wallet remain yours!
It won't though. I suppose now your ambitions for a new bike are on the back burner? It'll work out.
Me? I got my Gemini 1000 and a Dawes Edge FS Comp for my wife. I'm happy - very. She? Well, she was highly miffed because her bikes frame weld lines are like pigeon droppings, and mine are nicely polished!
Enjoy the new house. Sounds a bit like Dickens 'Great Expectations' country.

Hi Bokkie,
Yeah, there's alot of countryside around here, can't wait to get the wife out there too...everything for her bike is ready, I'm popping down to the LBS at the weekend to have some singlespeed wheels built up for her bike, but after that, we'll be spinning down cycle route 1 (which handily enough is just outside our house).
The Gemini sounds nice...sorry to hear your wife doesn't like the Dawes...I just hope my wife doesn't get a liking for my Kona!
Thanks Willic...I am a lucky man indeed
Ride on!

I think it's just the differences between us. Will I let her ride my Gemini? Frankly no. I think it is the wrong bike for her as she has short legs for her height. After her first big ride last Saturday, she was really very enthusiastic and looking forward to the next outing.

That's what I'm hoping Karen will be like after her first outing..I've promised myself that I won't push her, and let her ride at her own level, as suggested before, turn it into a picnic and a few drinks...
I'm just wondering how she'd take carrying all the food and drink? *j/k*

You last foreign 'message' said you were in Brussels. Is that where you went for honeymoon? Were the chocolates as good as I hear they are, but alas, I cannot enjoy.
Did you ride anywhere?

Thanks Mark
Yeah Bokkie, the choccies in Belgium are gorgeous, but unfortunately we were only there for three days, and one of those was spent travelling to Amsterdam (which I can recommend to everyone
).
No chances to cycle either
but it looks as if it could have been an interesting place to tour...
Ofcourse the
was also superb, I can recommend the Lefte and Duval beers
