Riser Bars with "Narrow" Centered Rise to Accommodate 54cm
All my flat bars are 54cm width, and yesterday, I excitedly chopped my recently purchased 3" riser bar down to 54cm...
I wasn't able to get the shifters, brakes and Ergon GP-3 Grips on even though I tried for quite some tome to file and sand down some of the aluminum- the bend simply came too prematurely.
Can anyone please advise?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Run wider bars and be happier or get some GP3s for gripshift which will be shorter grips and hope you have enough space on the super narrow bars.

Is there a friction shift version available?

That’s a good idea, and a 25.4 shim to 31.8 would be another alternative to replacing the current stem.
