Obor Tires?

Anyone have experience with Obor bike tires? There was nothing I could find on Google and they have some nice looking folding road tires cheap on ebay. Amazon has good reviews for Obor's ATV tires but that is about all I could find. Thank you for any help you can offer!

Bikes: '18 class built steel roadbike, '19 Fairlight Secan, '88 Schwinn Premis , Black Mountain Cycles Monstercross V4, '89 Novara Trionfo

All I know is the tires have some funny goofy names. Its like they went the Schwalbe route.
Never seen an Obor tire- not on anyone's bike or in a store.

And when one of the two listed features of a tire on their site is 'Bernoulli’s Drain', I cant say I have any interest in being the one to test and see if they are worth the cost or not.
Also, I do love that they claim the very minimal and sparse 'arrow shaped grooves' are effective in balancing cornering, increases stability, and reduces vibration. All that from a handful of shallow and subtle tire marks?!

Never seen or heard of them but cheap tires are cheap for a reason and unknown tires are unknown for a reason.

Never heard of them. But they do have their own website. And a address in the USA. And that is a mark or two in the plus column when considering brands I've never heard of.

It's not uncommon for brands to not do their own retail sales. Wasn't too long ago the same could be said of the bicycle brands.

Didn’t take much searching to discover that this is yet another Chinese brand from a large Chinese manufacturer in China. They have distributors in various countries, thus the USA website.

English is poor and not revealing in their descriptions of their bicycle tire write-ups. No links to independent testing or even in-house testing. No telling what you will get or how they will perform.

That being said, I use a Chinese saddle on my road bike that I purchased in 2019 for under $40 delivered!

Keep us posted if you decide to take a chance. Good luck and happy cycling!

I'd never even heard of them until reading this thread.

I'm sure these aren't heavy at all and don't have the suppleness of a dried-out eraser.
