I agree. I also judge a person’s character based on their knowledge of this movie.

Anyone thinking of a Canyon would instantly appreciate the clever references. That is just the type of people Grizl people are; rugged and savy.

There are no clever references.

Eben Weiss had some hilarious takes on cycling but I don't really follow him much any more I have an old book of his I got for free and it is great but he is the same person he has been for a while and nothing new and exciting.

"The Full Monty" tells the story of a group of unemployed men in Sheffield, England, who decide to form a male striptease act to make money, embracing the "full monty" – completely naked – as their gimmick. They face challenges with self-consciousness, body image, and skill, but ultimately find camaraderie and confidence through the experience. The film explores themes of unemployment, economic hardship, and overcoming personal struggles.

"The Full Mounty" is a multipurpose handlebar, cleverly marketed to inspire potential Grizl owners.

And to "Grizl" is to bike without performance goals.

Thread starter gets to decide which pop-culture references are good to use, and which are hopelessly outdated and cringey? Cool!

Somehow, this seems more appropriate.

Totally NSFW.

It only makes sense if he’s not actually a cyclist. 🤨

Brand management at its finest.

The Full Monty. There is a connection to gravel; one of them has a beard.

Leaving aside the jejeune (AI? Wike pastiche?) plot summary of the film, why do you use the awful verb 'to bike'? If you mean the activity of riding a bicycle, the appropriate verbs are 'ride' or 'cycle', as in 'ride (or cycle) without performance goals'. The verb 'bike' (ugh) is to be used unironically only by triathletes or motorcyclists.

Pro tip: as a new fan of BSNYC, you should acquaint yourself with his mockery of the word 'bike' used as a verb, which he has been known to transliterate as 'bi-keen'.

I discovered some great music.....scottish guy singing a new zealand whaling song (weller men) and sent it do my sister... who shook her head figuratively and suggested I was behind the times
