you recently mention that in post 48.
I was responding to your initial post claim and hadn't read post 48 yet.

Point being- your initial claim is again an exaggeration.

Every Gravel and most Endurance bikes advertise as their prime selling points, down-tube storage,
There was no confusion you said EVERY so mstateglfr had no confusion because there was no confusion to be had. You may have clarified in another post but he noted he had not seen that post and was responding to your first post where you made the bold dookie filled claim of EVERY GRAVEL bike having down-tube storage!

I thought this was self-explanatory, but apparently the bf thread critic bots need clarification.

This is the first mainstream brand carbon gravel bike model I googled...and no downtube storage advertised or included. It is an incredibly common gravel bike due to price point. Higher priced frames do have the storage though.

Here is another popular carbon gravel bike brand and model with no downtube storage.

And this is one more popular carbon gravel bike brand and model with no downtube storage.

Many carbon gravel bikes now have downtube storage. Many don't.

Downtube Storage or not!

Downtube Storage or not, the prices for those bikes is very unaffordable to most people.

Not on mountain bikes. Some aluminum MTB’s come with in frame storage.

You should ask yourself this question...Since you're one of the posters who swallowed the bait very early on, before this thread even reached 10 replies.

My gravel bike has a frame from 1981.
It has storage bags and lots of braze-ons. Sorry it will only take 35mm tires.

That's why most Bike Riders don't own one, either.

I think you need to re-read his posts -- he has consistently called out the OP for being a troll.

If a person replies to a thread which they believe is started by a Troll then it's obvious that they have taken a bait. Calling people names isn't a proper thing to do, there are mods here who handle and deal with troublesome posters.

What bait has he taken.? He hasn't engaged the OP in debate -- he called him out for what he (almost certainly) is, a troll.

Your comment is irrelevant to the discussion...But fyi, the links that mstateglfr provided include bikes as low as $1500, which is quite reasonable for a decent bike. If you go much cheaper than that, you might be looking for your next bike at Wal Mart.

Not that I want to but I can get a bike at Wal-Mart for $98. There is a huge difference between $1500 and $98, just sayin. But most $98 bikes don't have Downtube storage.

Posting off topic replies or insults in a thread started by a poster which you don't like means you are taking a bait. These type of replies are just for the purpose of grabbing attention and generating more replies. That's why some of these threads keep going for multiple pages before the mods finally get fed up and lock it. Way too much bickering and arguing about things of little value.

I think you're confused as to who is seeking attention ... it's the OP.

It was the light that comes on when you open the door to the frame storage on the Lab 71 Synapse that put me over the edge. lol

Agree, the posters who post not to reply and they're posting in the thread they are instructing others not to post in, are not too bright.

The irony is thick with them.
