my numb hands
I’ve been struggling with numbness in my fingers while cycling for quite some time. A friend recommended the Cardiff G.O.A.T. Gloves, so I finally decided to give them a try and picked up a pair from a nearby shop. After a few rides, I can honestly say they’ve made a noticeable difference. The fit feels natural, the padding is just right, and the numbness in my hands has been reduced a lot compared to my old gloves. I know bike fit plays a big role in comfort, but for anyone dealing with similar hand issues, these gloves might be worth checking out. Has anyone else here tried the Cardiff G.O.A.T. Gloves, or do you have other go-to gloves that helped with numbness?

Bikes: Bikes??? Thought this was social media?!?
I like and ride with canvas backed gloves. Different level of palm padding between them.
not sure the 2 brands currently in use - not anything special.
watch the sales, buy 2. Or use as a second 'filler' item - to get free shipping.

Well, there's always the ancient, still valid post, Numb Hands - Bike Forums
It's more than just gloves. I have a whole drawer full of gloves, don't really notice the difference, though the padding does wear and the newer gloves do feel better. No big deal. Main thing is just where and how you put your hands and how much weight is on them.

As someone with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, gloves don't really make any difference to me...in fact, my preference is no gloves. It's all about the wrist angle. I rotate my hoods in several degrees on my drop bar bikes, and that's usually enough to avoid any symptoms.

I wasn’t suffering from numb hands, but I switched to moustache bars this year because I like them better for single speed. They are also more comfortable without gloves than my drop bars were with gloves. Indeed I now ride without gloves until I need them for warmth. YMMV.

What is most odd about this, is that those gloves are actually unpadded. So I guess no padding makes the padding just right. They are actually a joint effort between Rivendell Bicycle Works and Cardiff Ltd. You can buy them from Rivendell or Cardiff

Super comfortable and I also use them with hiking poles, either hiking or trail running.
My hands still fall asleep, though. I just shake them to wake them up.

I can't find cycle gloves with as much padding as the ones I used to have and wore out.
Went recumbent for a few years due to hand issues, but that was flatland and just doesn't work for me in climbing.
Went back to upright bike, handlebar with multiple positions, including aero bar which transfers load to forearms, much superior, I just need to raise those bars about 75 mm, can't find the right spacers, may need to use a double-clamp setup.

Bikes: too many sparkly Italians, some sweet Americans and a couple interesting Japanese
With osteoarthritis in my hands and trying all kinds of cycling gloves with extra padding made for baseball gloves inside and I still have days I have to ride my recumbent. I have found what has worked the best to keep me off of my recumbent is industrial gloves made for rock drillers and jackhammer operators who's hands take a beating every day.
