Book about cycling
For those among us who are occasionally asking about books about bicycling to read. I just finished “ROAD TO VALOR — A true story of World War II Italy, the Nazis, and the cyclist who inspired a nation.”
I enjoyed it. It’s a biographical story of Gino Bartali, TdF champion in 1938, and 1948. A bit of WWII history, and a bit of TdF history rolled into one.

Gino is a certified badass. Total hero and one of my cycling heroes and just.a general hero of humanity as well. I wish he had been more open about what he did during the war obviously it got out but from everything I saw he held a lot back and only let fly late in life. Still a cool person. I need to read that book. I should try and find an audiobook version and start listening to audiobooks.
