What does everyone use for a journal?

What does everyone use for their training and riding journal? I know there is online journals and such but I am looking for something to use for my personal use at home.
Can anyone point me in the right direction. Free use would be best but am willing to check out anything ya'll can help with.

i don't use one right now, but i did when i was doing a lot of training earlier this summer. i actually just made a binder and recorded everything on paper (mileage, time spent, weather, specific things i did, what i ate, any injuries, etc.) it felt good to come home after a ride and log in the details. plus it made me ride more because i'd feel guilty looking back and not seeing a lot of activity.

I just made up a spreadsheet to record daily ride stuff. Works for me. I monitor distance, time, route, HR info, and general comments. PM me if you'd like a copy to use as a template.

Thanks guys. I like bikejournal.com but I am looking for something a little easier to use. I don't keep track of my HR or my cadence. and all of the stuff they request to add the entry. I am a basic kinda guy.
Thanks again

You can get rid of the fields that you don't want to use, or just enter 0.

That works for me. I don't even have a computer at home, so something simple near the bike racks works best. I have a large desktop calendar that has room for all the essential stats as well as weather notes, bike performance, and my general mood.

Sounds like you would like activebody.org. Take a look, it is run by a Bike Forums poster.

fitnessjournal.org

was recommended by someone on the fitness forum weight loss club. My hubby and i signed up for it this weekend. Kinda nice because you can log on from any internet accessible computer to update your food intake and exercise. (I type in my lunch data when Im at work) they have a 30 day free trial. My hubby and i signed up for 6 months ...costs about $18 for 6mo, $24 for 12 months (aprox). It has nice graphics .

If you're into multi-sports, take a look at https://www.coolrunning.com/engine/4/index.shtml. Their log can be used by runners, cyclists, walkers and swimmers.
